Keynote Address a Success and First Official Book Signing set for June 28th!
Police Association of Ontario Keynote
If They Only Knew: A Cop’s Journey with Addiction and Mental Health was the topic for my keynote address to nearly two hundred Police Association of Ontario leaders on March 27th, 2025, in Ottawa. Huge thanks to Matt Cox, Ottawa Police Association’s President, for recommending me to PAO’s President, Mark Baxter. As an fyi, Matt also wrote a beautiful book review in Blue Line Magazine, now available here.
First Official Book Signing Set for Saturday, June 28th, 2025 at Indigo Innes in Orleans
I’m pleased to announce that we are hosting our first official book signing event on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, from 12:00 – 3:00 pm at Indigo Innes (2025 Mer-Bleue Road, Orleans, ON).
The store has confirmed that anyone who has already purchased If They Only Knew can bring it to the store to have me sign it.
I know this is a Saturday in the middle of the summer, but it would be great to see as many of you as possible that day.
Ottawa Police Veterans Association Breakfast, Tuesday, June 3rd
Thanks to the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Police Veterans Association for inviting me to be their guest for breakfast on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025 (tomorrow). Thanks to Guy Mathieu for reaching out to ask me!
This event is closed to members of the Association, but it will be great to see so many familiar faces. Many of these folks are in the book (although not by name), and several who have already purchased the book have written very kind notes about their own experiences.
I’ll have a few copies of the book for sale as a few folks have asked me to bring them along.
Canadian Association of Police Educators Conference, Thursday, June 5th.
The Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Police Educators (C.A.P.E.) purchased a few copies of If They Only Knew as raffle prizes for their conference in Ottawa this week.
I’ll be attending this Thursday, June 5th, to sign books and take in the presentation by Dr. Craig Bennell, who wrote the Foreword for the book.
